About the Chapter

Green Cause Nigeria is dedicated to empowering youth to take an active role in protecting their environment. Through engaging educational presentations, the chapter encourages students to reflect on their environmental choices and understand the direct impact of local environmental challenges (i.e. deforestation) on their quality of life. Their work spans eco-restoration projects, education on sustainable practices, sun protection, and overall wellness, alongside hands-on stewardship events that clean up and revitalize local spaces. Together, they are just beginning to foster a culture of responsibility for a healthier environment and community. The chapter's impact has been recognized locally, with multiple school districts inviting them to host educational sessions at their institutions.
